A&G Asia officially opens Allen & Gledhill LLP Shanghai Representative Office (Singapore) on 24 January 2024
Allen & Gledhill is pleased to announce the official opening of Allen & Gledhill LLP Shanghai Representative Office (Singapore) on 24 January 2024. Held at our new office location on the 50th floor of Tower Two, Shanghai International Finance Centre, our office was officially opened by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law, Mr Edwin Tong SC.
Minister Edwin Tong SC was accompanied at the opening ceremony by Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Low Yen Ling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice, Ms Liu Weiping, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Judicial Bureau of Pudong New Area, Shanghai, Mr Huang Aiwu, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Lujiazui Administration Bureau of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Management Committee, Mr Xiao Jian, Consul-General from the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Shanghai, Mr Chua Teng Hoe, and Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Singapore, Mr Johnny Teo.
This opening ceremony marks yet another milestone in the growth of the Allen & Gledhill Network, collectively known as A&G Asia. By establishing a strong presence in Shanghai, we are better positioned to serve both our local and international clients through facilitating seamless cross-border transactions in the region and beyond.
