AGI Legal is pleased to announce that three of our lawyers have been named by IFLR1000 in its 2024 rankings. Partner Kevin Omar Sidharta and Foreign Counsel Oene J. Marseille have been recognised as Highly Regarded lawyers, while Partner (Foreign Law) Aris Budi Prasetiyo has also been recognised as a Rising Star Partner.

Our associate firm in Singapore, Allen & Gledhill, continues to be the only Singapore firm that has achieved a Tier 1 ranking across all local practice areas, with the most number of recognised lawyers across the practices. The Allen & Gledhill network, known as A&G Asia, continues to be recognised as a leading law firm in South-east Asia in the latest Who’s Who Legal: Southeast Asia 2024 guide.

AGI Legal was credited with one listing, with the lawyer being recognised in the area of Energy.  

In Singapore, Allen & Gledhill continues to be credited with the most number of listings across the most number of practice areas in South-east Asia. In total, our lawyers were listed 112 times across 28 practice areas, with many being lauded for their dedication and experience.

Our associate firm in Malaysia, Rahmat Lim & Partners, has achieved improvement in its listings, and was credited with 14 listings across 10 practice areas.

In Vietnam, Allen & Gledhill (Vietnam) was credited with two listings across two practice areas, with the lawyers being newly recognised in the areas of Energy and Real Estate respectively.

Indonesia

Two lawyers from AGI Legal have been recognised in the 2024 edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific. According to the rankings, our Founding Partners Kevin Sidharta was ranked Band 1 for Restructuring & Insolvency, while Giffy Pardede was ranked for Corporate/M&A. 

Singapore

Allen & Gledhill continues to have the highest number of Band 1 practice rankings and recognised lawyers in the country in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2024 edition. In total, we have received 18 Band 1 practice rankings, with 71 lawyers recognised by the publication. Of the lawyers who were recognised, 24 were ranked Band 1 or as an exceptional individual (Senior Statesperson/Star Individual/Eminent Practitioner).

Additionally, our Firm was ranked Band 1 in the 2024 edition of the Chambers FinTech Guide released earlier this month with one Partner ranked in the top band.

Malaysia

Our associate firm, Rahmat Lim & Partners, continues to perform well in the rankings, with four Band 1 practice rankings (Banking & Finance, Corporate/M&A, Projects, Infrastructure & Energy, and Real Estate) and 15 recognised lawyers. Of the recognised lawyers, one was ranked as an Eminent Practitioner and three were ranked Band 1.

Myanmar

Our Myanmar office continues to be ranked Band 1 in General Business Law in Myanmar with two recognised lawyers. Of the recognised lawyers, one was ranked Band 1.
